Hi, I’m a transgender woman and a retired social studies teacher who lives in the South Granville area of Vancouver. Since coming out as Michelle in 2015, and leaving an unhappy marriage, I feel like I’m 25 again and living an entirely new life. But some things about me haven’t changed. I still love to: play racquet sports (like tennis and pickleball), go on hikes and long walks, go skiing, cycle, go swimming, and do ballroom dancing. The person I’m looking for would also be curious and intellectually “alive,” someone who enjoys poking around in bookstores and museums, travelling, and following the news. By the way, I also love to cook! And no dinner, I believe, is complete without a very nice glass of red or white wine.
I’m hoping to find a woman who has a lot in common with me, who could become a good friend (and possibly more), and who just might be attracted to a transgender woman like myself.
