About me: Over-educated econ and policy researcher seeks smart, quirky woman w great sense of humor and sexual compatibility. I love sci-fi and fantasy genres, strategy games, museums, satires, and both scholarly and silly discussions. I’m a Depeche Mode fan since I was 10; still have a thing for electro-pop. Prefer counter-culture generally. Midwestern upbringing near Chicago (Gary, IN) has me seeming overly sincere among east coasters, but it’s genuine.
Where I’m at in life: I’m a serial monogamist who spent 12 of the past 18 years in three cohabitating relationships. Love was not enough — my last relationship ended in Nov. 2019 after 5 years, mostly from sexual compatibility issues, and now I’m looking for a better overall sexual and romantic connection. I spent a significant chunk of my life in grad school developing significant topical expertise, and only now do I have an opportunity to date in a major city while developing my post-academic career.
Why an attraction to trans: To be blunt, I enjoy anal more than most cis women I’ve dated, so it’s time to think outside the box (bad pun intended). I also do not want children, prefer women with more alternative and liberal preferences, and believe that I’m supportive, dedicated, and smart enough to work toward understanding the different nuances in play here necessary to develop healthy relationships. These things said, this is just a better dating atmosphere for me. Recognizing the concern, I do not consider myself to be a “chaser” or fetishizer, but I do find trans women sometimes to be especially attractive for various reasons. Beyond my anal preference, I’m a pleaser and am very flexible to match what you’re into and comfortable with. I’m a switch but can be 100% top without concern. I hope this wasn’t too explicit and that it gives you a sense of why I’m here, rather than on more mainstream OLD sites.
